General Manager
It's Your Business! Our General Managers are ultimately responsible for the overall success and profitability of the restaurant. A Cactus General Manager:
- Develops staff, sets performance targets and provides regular feedback
- Uses effective hiring methods, promotes continuous hiring and recognizes high potential talent
- Produces quality candidates for future leadership positions to support our future growth plans
- Manages all front-of-house related costs
- Strives to increase sales by using knowledge of the restaurant's unique market advantage and resolves the potential pitfalls
- Works with the Chef to oversee kitchen operations
- Prepares weekly floor schedules to meet projected sales and wage costs
- Upholds stringent environmental standards - regularly monitoring and evaluating the decor, lighting and music of the restaurant to maintain the unique experience for the guest
- Develops and participates in marketing initiatives and optimizes local public relations opportunities to create a loyal customer base
