Cactus Club and Feenie Favourites Lead the Menu for Taste of Yaletown

Cactus Club Cafe today announced a special three course tasting menu inspired by Chef Rob Feenie for 4th Annual Taste of Yaletown, the popular dining festival running October 14th - 26th featuring offerings from a selection of the neighbourhood's premier restaurants.

Cactus Club will be offering a selection globally-inspired, signature menu items including dishes designed by Chef Rob Feenie. The tasting menu will begin with his signature tuna tataki; seared albacore tuna accompanied by a fresh green papaya slaw with orange and avocado and finished with a sprinkling of pine nuts and drizzle of yuzu vinaigrette. For an entrée, try the butternut squash ravioli, with truffle beurre blanc, topped with crispy fried sage and pine nuts and finish with a luxurious peanut chocolate crunch bar topped with velvety bittersweet chocolate mousse and creamy caramel sauce, served with rich vanilla bean ice cream.

An industry leader in casual fine dining, Cactus Club's newly expanded Yaletown location is a blend of urban upscale with casual comfort amidst the neighbourhood's trendy backdrop. On Saturday, October 25th, 10% of tasting menu sales from Cactus Club Yaletown will be donated to the Greater Vancouver Food Bank Society

Cactus' menu development has been inspired by the team's extensive international culinary travels and features a range Chef Feenie's new introductions. As Canada's first "Iron Chef" and one of Canada's most celebrated chefs, Chef Feenie has created a number of exciting, yet simple dishes for Cactus Club's signature menu featuring fresh, quality ingredients.
