Recent research indicates that if we continue eating our oceans' bounty without regard to sustainability, the seafood we now enjoy could all but disappear by 2048. The Vancouver Aquarium's Ocean Wise program, which promotes the eating of sustainable seafood and sends advisories when a species is under threat, has joined with restaurants concerned about the same issue in Seafood for Thought this week, Nov. 20 - 22. During the three-day celebration, Ocean Wise restaurants such as C, La Gavroche, Nu, Chambar and Cactus Club will feature ocean-friendly seafood choices on their menus.
