For the second year in a row the Richmond Cactus Club participated in “Cork, Canvas and Cuisine” a fundraiser for the Richmond Hospital. The event featured over 100 different wines and 50 stations for guests to sample culinary creations from local restaurants. Live music, local art to bid on and acrobatic routines kept guests entertained as they worked their way through the beautifully decorated Richmond Centre Mall venue.
This year proved to be another success as we were clearly the most visited table during event, guests were lining up to get a chance to sample our offerings. Our table played host to the Tuna Tataki, Crunch Bar and Spinach Salad Canapés prepared by Nik Bunting and Brett Randorf on site. Richmond Cactus represented well with a few of its up and coming KP’s there to lend a hand, while James Bunting, Catherine Raflores, and Monica Cervantes dressed to the nines entertained and chatted up Richmond’s finest at one of the year’s most prestigious local events. We were all proud to represent Cactus at this event for a great cause as all proceeds went to support the Richmond Hospital Foundation’s mission to save lives and improve the quality of care for its patients. Participating in events like this are always a win, win as we get to do what we love all while benefiting our community.
