Vancouver, B.C. – Today we introduced a menu of low alcohol beverage options for customers in response to changing lifestyle trends and the recent changes to the new drinking-driving penalties in British Columbia. This new menu highlights a range of options including half shot cocktails, lower alcohol beer and wine selections and a variety of virgin cocktails.
“Offering a wide range of beverages including these low alcohol options allows us to continue to meet the needs of our broad range of customers,” said president and founder Richard Jaffray. “The new penalties for drinking-driving have created some confusion among our customers and we are pleased to offer low alcohol options for those who prefer them.”
Currently the new low alcohol options menu is being introduced to customers at the newly remodeled Cactus Club Cafe in North Burnaby. It will be introduced at Cactus Club locations in Coquitlam, Market Crossing in Burnaby, Kelowna, Park Royal and SouthPoint on Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Depending on customer feedback, it will introduced at all BC Cactus Club Cafe locations in the near future.
