Cactus Restaurants Ltd. celebrates 25th anniversary

Vancouver, BC – Today, Cactus Restaurants Ltd. is celebrating their 25th anniversary as the leader in casual fine dining in Western Canada.  Currently the company operates 22 Cactus Club Cafe locations in British Columbia and Alberta, with three more scheduled to open this year. The new locations include Coal Harbour in Vancouver, Edmonton and Langley.

The Cactus Club Cafe concept began with the first location on Pemberton Avenue in North Vancouver and over time evolved to be focused on quality in all aspects of the business including a globally-inspired menu, local and fresh ingredients, outstanding service and a sophisticated, casual atmosphere.

“From the start of Cactus Club Cafe with peanut shells on the floor and cows on the roof to where we are today as a company, it has been an incredible journey. I am very proud of how the concept has grown and evolved over the years,” said President and Founder, Richard Jaffray.  “On this journey I have had the opportunity to work with a dedicated team who is committed to taking the company to new heights over the next 25 years.”

Cactus Restaurants Ltd. is proud to have been recognized as one of the Best Managed Companies in Canada for the past six years; one of Canada’s Top Employers for Young People and as Vancouver Magazine’s “Best Casual Chain” for the past five years.  In addition, Cactus is committed to environmental conservatorship through their partnership with Ocean Wise and the Green Table Network, and is equally committed to community service, working with and supporting over 600 local charity and community groups.
