On Monday September 23rd, Cactus Club Cafe held our second annual dodgeball tournament, run by Urban Rec, at the Richmond Olympic Oval. The companywide event is a fundraiser which raised $5000 for Templeton. Teams from nearly every location showed up and had an awesome Red Bull and Tacofino fueled afternoon throwing foam balls at one another in ridiculous outfits, such as team North Vancouver “Wrestle Mania”, The Byrne Road “Dodgefathers”, and South Point “Tropic Thunder”.

Winners of the tournament:
- The team that came out on top were the “Ebay Ninjas” hailing from Cactus Club Cafe in English Bay ( Runner up was North Burnaby “One Hit Wonders”
- Costume winners were Cactus Club Cafe English Bay’s team – “Ebay Ninjas”
- The team spirit award went to Cactus Club Cafe Bentall’s team- “The Balloholics”
