Rob Feenie’s signature fall feature – inspired by the Venetian classic – is too tantalizing for words. But since you’re reading this, we’ll attempt to do this dish justice by telling you how it combines thinly-sliced, five peppercorn-crusted AA beef, garnished with grainy Dijon aioli, crispy capers, pickled shallots and Grana Padano cheese – all topped with fresh, peppery baby arugula and who knew reading could be so appetizing? 5. Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps
When a lettuce wrap is this flavourful, you could very well forget that you’re eating lettuce altogether. But the flavourful and colourful concoction that is tender chicken, sweet and spicy glaze, Szechuan peanuts, wontons, Korean chilli sauce, and spicy yogurt – that’s something you’ll remember long after autumn disappears.
