*APRIL FOOL’S!* Thanks for paddling along with us.
Vancouver, BC — April 1, 2019 — Cactus Restaurants announces the introduction of a stunning, one-of-a-kind water-access concept: Club Island by Cactus Club Cafe. True to Cactus Restaurants’ history of innovation and reinvention, Club Island will be Canada’s first standalone floating restaurant, offering 360-degree waterfront views off the shores of Stanley Park.
This three-story experiential restaurant will feature an all-season underwater dining room and a sea level bar and private cabanas. Its living rooftop deck will undoubtedly become the hotspot for local and international influencers and their Instagram feeds. In true Cactus fashion, Club Island will boast state-of-the-art sound systems and every creature comfort for its guests – from a filtered saltwater slide to SPF misters for sunny summer days.

“Cactus Restaurants are known for our AAA locations and world-class design and this takes our signature views and experience to a whole new level…sea level. This will be our most ambitious concept to date and it promises to be a game-changer in global dining and hospitality.”
Accessed exclusively by water, guests can come by boat, paddle board or kayak. Cactus Restaurants has begun construction and this location is set to open September 2019. Lake locations are also in the works for BC’s interior, Alberta and Ontario.
