*APRIL FOOL’S* Introducing Bargé by Cactus Club Cafe

Barge by Cactus Club Cafe

April Fool’s! Like the barge, the pop-up club of our dreams is remaining grounded for now.

Introducing Bargé by Cactus Club Cafe: Vancouver’s viral marooned craft becomes the pop-up event of the year.

Inspired by the long-awaited lifting of restrictions on dancing, the creative minds at Cactus Club Cafe are set to bring Vancouver its most innovative pop-up nightclub: Bargé.

Upper Deck Floor PlanBelow Deck Lounge Floor Plans

Bargé takes advantage of the structure’s unique architecture and location, providing club-goers with a space that lets them celebrate and explore like never before. Existing on two levels, Bargé offers an open-air section for dancing under the seagulls and stars. Complete with Funktion-One sound system and kinetic light installation, Bargé will host local and international DJs all weekend, including a special Friday appearance by Lil Dinghy.

For a more haunting, intimate experience, passengers are invited underneath the surface to the Below Deck Lounge. Here, guests can take in underwater views through fifty-six portholes, enjoy the tactile nature of two algae feature walls, and listen to a curated selection of binaural beats from the DJ overlaid with live whale vocalizations.

Beached Nigiri Ever Given

Passengers will also be treated to food and drink features exclusive to this event. Available in single orders of 8 pieces or a cruise platter of 50, our Beached Nigiri is inspired by its namesake structure, made with heirloom black rice and flame torched salmon. In addition to the fully stocked bar, guests are invited to try newly imagined cocktails like the Ever Given: a grounded take on the bourbon sour, made with fresh lime juice and tamarind paste, served cold on the rocks garnished with a western hemlock sprig.

With room for up to 2,000 passengers on board, this one-weekend-only party starts on Friday night at sunset. Tickets are available at the door, but guests are encouraged to line up early to guarantee their spot inside.
